MSc Digital Anthropology, UCL


Lily Rodel is a digital anthropologist (MSc Digital Anthropology, UCL) from London. After graduating from the Social Anthropology (BA) programme at SOAS in 2016, she worked in digital marketing for the charity sector. Rodel is interested in how virtual ethnography pushes the boundaries of anthropological research and presentation, having delivered research projects using TikTok, Instagram, and Wordpress. Using a range of platforms to gather her data, Rodel has recently explored questions of what wellbeing practices look like online during the COVID-19 pandemic for remote workers.
