MSc Digital Anthropology, UCL

Ulysse Ha is a digital anthropologist from Hong Kong, whose interest in multimedia ethnography stems from the series of digital ethnographies that he conducted throughout the pandemic. His MSc thesis - conducted completely online - explores how fitness trackers facilitate and sustain epistemological change using interviews and photo journals, subsequently inspiring him to go beyond the conventional media of text and photographs to tell better stories.
