Paula Turmina (b. 1991, Brazil) is an artist who lives and works in London. Paula completed BA (Hons) in Painting at Wimbledon College of Fine Arts in 2016 and the MA Painting course at the Slade School of Fine Art (2018-2021).
Paula’s work explores mythology and magic realism in order to speculate new perspectives of the future through painting, analog films and printmaking. Her practice is driven by the intersection of concepts and disciplines such as anthropology, philosophy and the visual arts, considering its different ways of describing and rendering the world.
